Sylvia Santana
Accounting Assistant
Professional Experience: Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Sylvia worked in a variety of accounting areas over the past 37 years. She has several years experience each working for a range of small to large organizations in the construction industry, non-profit organizations and public accounting.
Education:
• Palmer High School Palmer, AK. Graduated 1974.
Professional Activities: While working in public accounting, Sylvia was active in the OACPA and attended various accounting/tax courses for CPE credit.
Community Involvement: Sylvia is a supporter of local and national Humane Societies. She is also a strong supporter of the Oregon Youth Challenge Program located in Bend.
Interests: Sylvia is a long-time resident of the Portland Metro area. Born and half-raised in Forest Grove, she then spent 20 years in Alaska with an 18-month sun break in Hawaii before returning "home." She has worked for a few local non-profits and in public accounting. She loves nature, especially marine wildlife, which she missed her calling in many years ago and pursued an accounting career instead!
