Professional Experience: Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, P.C., Danny Kim wore many different hats. During college, he worked as a tax accountant for two tax seasons at a local CPA firm. After college, he worked at LifeWorksNW as an Accounts Payable Specialist and soon became a Staff Accountant for the next four-and-a-half years. After LifeWorksNW, Danny moved into the self-employment arena as a small local bar/lounge owner. The lounge, named Detox, was a formerly closed down bar but quickly became a hot gathering spot within a matter of weeks. After one year, he sold the business and moved onto becoming a general contractor. Within just four months, he had helped launch five Boost Mobile retail outlets in the state of Washington. And now that he has decided to go back to school and study law, he jumped on the opportunity to work for Stahancyk, Kent & Hook and gain invaluable hands-on experience until school starts!

- Portland State University Portland, OR. Graduated 2005. Majored in Accounting and Finance.
Professional Activities: Danny has not yet had the opportunity to get involved in professional organizations but he plans to attend law school and hopes to become active member of the Bar association as well as the young lawyers association.
Community Involvement: Danny has volunteered with Portland Rescue Mission and organized a small care package distribution on the streets of Portland during the last Christmas and New Year's Eve holidays.
Interests: He enjoys working with his hands, including remodeling houses, repairing cars and fixing anything that breaks. He also happens to be a pool shark and pretty good at ping-pong.
