Craig McCarthy

Professional Experience: Craig worked as an event coordinator for the marketing firm, Octagon. He traveled around the East Coast, living out of hotels, helping promote the wireless internet service, CLEAR. For a few summers he was a successful door-to-door canvasser for organizations such as the DNC and the ACLU. Most recently, Craig was working his way around Western Europe, helping at small farms and cottages.

Education:

Community Involvement: In the past Craig has been a part of the Dickinson College community farm and helped raise money for the local woman's shelter. Having just moved to Portland, he hopes to start volunteering for similar organizations.

Interests: Craig is from Boston, lived in Philadelphia, and has just moved to the Northwest. He has a passion for film and is highly impressed with all the small theaters around Portland. Occasionally he will write movie reviews whenever he can find a publication to take one. The same goes for essays and short stories. At Dickinson College, Craig was involved in theater, and hopes to find some opportunities to act while in Portland. He also played ultimate frisbee throughout college and loves finding a pick-up game here and there.
