Professional Experience: Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, James was an extern with Hillsboro Law Group working mainly on criminal law cases. During his undergrad he completed two public relations internships. He's also been employed as a basketball referee, event security guard, convenience store night manager, and pavement striper.

Professional Activities: During his senior year at Oregon James completed an internship with the Public Relations Society of America.
Community Involvement: In high school and his first year of college James volunteered several times with the REACH program restoring homes in low-income neighborhoods.
Interests: James is a big Duck sports fan. He's also a die-hard Blazers and the New England Patriots fan. He tries to get 25 days snowboarding on the mountain every winter, and he really likes spicy foods.
